New Member Class
Throughout the year, Pastor Kenneth Wade and Vicar Clayton Dodge offer adult education classes for individuals interested in learning more about the Lutheran Church and/or for those who are interested in becoming a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. The classes are designed to help individuals gain better knowledge of the Christian faith and a better understanding of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. Please call the church office (580) 863-2722 or email (immanuelgarber@gmail.com) us if you would like more information.
Kids
Children are welcome to join our Sunday School classes at 9:30 a.m. for their age group, where members of our congregation lovingly teach the Bible and include fun craft projects too! Throughout the year, we also have fun and educational activities for children, including our annual Easter Egg hunt and the Children's Christmas Program.
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Proverbs 22:6
Youth
Our Immanuel Youth are an active group who meet regularly to study the Bible. The Youth also engage in activities throughout the year to grow stronger in faith, uplift each other through friendship, serve Christ by serving others, tell others about Jesus and to have fun! The Oklahoma District Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod also provides youth gatherings including “Joy" for 6th-8th grade students at Camp Lutherhoma in Tahlequah, OK and "Ok'd in Christ" for 9th-12th grade students at varying locations throughout the state. C.L.A.S.S.- the Concordia Leadership and Service Summit is held annually in conjunction with Concordia University-Nebraska.
Adults
We were not here when Jesus was on earth but we can study the record of his birth, life, death on the cross, and resurrection found in the Bible. Adult Bible class at Immanuel is held Sunday Morning at 9:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-17
We have adult fellowship groups and also offer many opportunities to serve at Immanuel in worship and in our ministries which impact our members, our community, and others throughout the world.
